Meet the Team
Tiffani Jackson is a born leader, accessibility consultant, and recognized American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter serving the Metropolitan Areas of Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. With over a decade of experience spanning federal service, education, and the arts, she has become a respected advocate for disability inclusion and equitable communication.
As the Founder of Accessible Integrated Media (AIM), Tiffani leads Maryland’s only Black woman-owned communications and interpreter training enterprise. Her company bridges the gap between access and excellence by providing certified ASL testing, interpreter education, and consulting services to individuals and organizations.
Tiffani’s professional background includes 9+ years as a federal contractor and 8+ years as a disability and inclusion advocate. She previously served as a Reasonable Accommodation Specialist at FEMA, where she facilitated over 240 accommodations in a single year, advised leadership on ADA compliance, and trained staff on inclusive practices. Her earlier work as an EEO Assistant at the Washington Navy Yard further refined her expertise in accessibility policy, program development, and diversity initiatives.
A lifelong learner, Tiffani earned her Master’s Degree in Business Leadership Management from Western Governors University (WGU) and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Faulkner University. She also holds an Interpreter Preparation Certificate from the Community College of Baltimore County, certifications from the EEOC, a 4.0 on the EIPA Educational Interpreter Proficiency Assessment, and a CCHI-Core Medical Interpreter Certificate.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Tiffani previously served as Board-Chair at Dance Place, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and supports arts-based accessibility projects.
With a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and compassion, Tiffani Jackson continues to shape the future of supporting the whole interpreter's development.
